I'm really fed up with poking my finger every morning just to be told that my sugar count is in the 80's. And still feel tired and hurting.

Sunday evening I let myself eat chocolate. Not a lot - less than half a candy-bar-worth. But it was soooooo satisfying!

And yesterday I fasted. I didn't really think I'd be able to do so well. During the day, I drank V8 (about a cup), and had nothing at all else. Between 8:00 and 9:00 pm I ate a lot of celery and a few bites of chicken.

Today I will do only raw vegetables.

The thing is that I must kill the yeast. Sometimes I forget that yeast is the root of most health problems. Right now I can't expound on the connections, but it damages the pancreas and the spleen, and is the indirect cause of most sugar problems.

And of course, it feeds on sugar.

To kill it, you have to eat nothing that can grow mold. No wheat or grain of any kind; no milk or cream. No cooked potatoes, corn, anything. Maybe a bite of meat.

How long do you think I can keep it up? Shall we place bets? One day? One week? I guarantee it's somewhere between those two.

When I did it before - years ago - for three days, my energy went through the roof, my thinking was amazingly clear, and I didn't hurt at all. I have to keep that memory in front of temptation.
