First off, after accomplishing a fair amount on Monday, and a little bit yesterday, it's disappointing to have not been able to do much today. I *did* get the other planter box tarred, but that was it.
Second, I spent four hours this morning getting Mary's computer online after being reformatted. Then I spent four hours this evening trying to install Partition Magic on it.
For those who don't know, Partition Magic will partition your drive. I have the latest one, so it works even for XP. On my computer, I just bring that up and change the amount of space allocated to each drive anytime I want.
But it wouldn't install on hers. There's a much longer and more entertaining story in there, but the fact is that I'm just tired of it all. I may even go to bed. Long and short is that THEY COULDN'T FIGURE IT OUT!
There's nothing wrong with the disk. There's nothing wrong with the computer. There's nothing wrong with the drives.
But Symantic (Symantic - the Norton company!) couldn't help me get their program installed. I'm disgusted.
