Well, it was nice while it lasted.

When I got to my computer after church, Travanti had been on it and it had lost the hard drive. He didn't know what to do about it, so left it sitting with the error on the screen. I jiggled the plug and restarted it.

Did it work? I've no idea. Seems that we've lost the capability of sending data to the monitor. I tried hooking up Raederle's monitor without any result, so it isn't that.

This is becoming so commonplace that I'm barely disappointed. I am fortunate in that I have other options. I probably won't be able to do anything about it before ELF, since I have to take the car for repair tomorrow, and who knows how long that will take.

But the laptop works, and will be going with me to ELF.
