I have become rather of a slug. I don't want to do anything. The chocolate keeps calling to me. I don't even *want* to want to do anything.

Slogan from decades past: Eating sugar makes you want to do nothing but eat more sugar.


If I keep following 'step one' without slowing down on the sweets I will blow up like a balloon. At least, so modern science would have me believe. In actual fact, I have gained not a pound. I gain more weight when I'm eating fewer calories. The enigma of diabetes.

Step two: Exercise.

Well, that doesn't take long. All I can manage is 200 running steps. Takes about a minute.

No, I am *not* walking to the store today. It is raining. Hard.
